While most of the previous films of Vijay turned out to be box office duds, he had a life-saving jacket through the film ‘Kaavalan’. The actor has now strode back to his top position and is keeping everyone excited on his upcoming films ‘Velayudham’ and ‘Nanban’.

Vijay’s previous film ‘Kaavalan’ was screened at Shangai International Film Festival and the response was incredulously tremendous. Speaking on the occasion, Vijay said, “I never expected for such a big appreciation and you people in China have proved that films have no barriers with Country, Languages and Actors. A good film is appreciated all over the globe and you have made us happier. I am an ardent buff of Jackie Chan right from his childhood. Tamil Nadu has maximum number of Jackie Chan fans and today I am elated to see my film being recognized in the land of Jackie Chan.”

Right throughout the film, the audiences enjoyed the comedy portions and for the last 20minutes of the film, they remained silent. Soon after the show, they gave standing ovation acclaiming ‘Bhoomi you rock.’
