Here's the latest on Shankar's Tamil remake of 3 idiots. We hear the three lead actors — Vijay, Srikanth and Jiiva — did a style test for their respective characters in the film two days ago . A source close to the unit confirms the news, saying, "Vijay, Jiiva and Srikanth tried on different looks for the film a few days ago. The three came in for a style test at a popular studio in Chennai on the same day, but at different hours."
The source adds, "We will be leaving on December 6 to Dehradhun for the first schedule."
While Vijay will be playing Aamir's role in the film, Srikanth and Jiiva will reprise Maddy and Sharman Joshi's characters respectively in the untitled Tamil version.
